The earth has limited resources and not everyone has the advantages that we have here in the UK.
In order for everybody on the planet to live as we do we would need the resources of 3.5 worlds!
Clearly that's not practical - so what can we do?
we need to think about living sustainably
This means making decisions about the way we do things that will improve our quality of life
without damaging the planet for future generations.
how can one-earth help?
bullet diverse methods - classroom sessions, workshops, assemblies and discussion groups
bullet access to all - co-ordinating activities at any age group from key stage 2 up to 6th form
bullet extensive experience of working with school councils
inset and staff meetings are especially useful for inspiring schools to begin to recycle.
